
As part of the Labrador Research Forum 2022, we are working together with our partners to organize the following pre-conference virtual workshops, to be held on Monday, May 9th, 2022:

Labrador-Grenfell Health Food and Health Workshop
9am – 12pm
This pre-conference session will bring together researchers and practitioners doing work on the intersections of food and health in Labrador and other Northern communities in Canada. The goal of this session will be to introduce some of the most current thinking and research on the connections between food and health and how health systems connect with food system.
This session is free for all registered attendees.

The “Tea” on Research
10:00am – 12:00pm
Come join us for this research sharing event over tea! This pre-conference event organized by the Atlantic Indigenous Mentorship Network (AIMN) will provide an informal relaxed space for Indigenous students in the region to ‘spill the tea’ on their research and network with other students, supportive faculty and mentors. This will be a great opportunity to hear about exciting student-led Indigenous health research happening in the region! Participants will be mailed tea from Labrador prior to the event to drink during the session. This event will take place on Zoom.
This session is free for all registered students.
